It was homely and warm . The staff was extremely helpful and Dr.Faisal , our host , extremely hospitable . Situated near the Lidder river it offered great walks in the neighbourhood . Bonfires in the evening and electric blankets at night ensured our comfort and warmth while freshly cooked trout made for the perfect appetisers ……
Had a simply wonderful time. Doctor Faisal Shah and his team live, breathe and dream trout fishing in Kashmir. Nothing is too much trouble. The lodge was everything I could want in a fishing lodge. The Fishing was simply superb and their knowledge of the pools and lies of the rivers astounding. They know the flies, methods, equipment required to perfection and will happily share their knowledge and expertise with an infectious enthusiasm.

Wazwan the cuisine of Kashmir is collection of multiple lamb recieps .
It is made by chiefs in the old town of Srinagar who have learnt the art from their fore father’s.
